Elgin will handle the custom design of the substation and respective modules, procurement of the components, construction and assembly of the modules, and testing of the modules before they leave Elgin’s factory. Upon delivery to site, the modules are designed to be installed safely and efficiently. The plug-and-play nature of these modules eliminates virtually all above-grade field construction, allows for an accelerated project schedule, and provides greater schedule certainty. If desired by the customer, Elgin can handle all other site civil and electrical aspects of the project, providing customers a completely turnkey solution.
