Mining Controls specializes in the custom design and manufacture of Heavy Duty Mine Power Centers used in industries such as underground coal mining, hard rock surface, and underground mining and tunneling. These units are all custom-built based on the exact electrical and mechanical requirements of each customer. We can build Power Centers as needed to go into the tightest and most extreme conditions that mining applications require.

- Dry Type 100% Cooper Wound Transformers properly brace inside each Power Center skid. All Transformers are built in-house.
- Heavy Mine Duty Skids.
- Heavy Duty Lifting eyes & towing provisions on the ends of each skid.
- Baked on Power Coat Paint Finish with Choice of color
- Incoming and Feedthrough H.V. Couplers & Strain Clamps
- High Voltage Fused Load Break Switch with Viewing Window
- Distribution Class Lightning Arresters
- Steel barriers between Primary Switch & Transformer Sections.
- E-Stop & Lid Switches
- Neutral Ground Resistor (for each secondary winding)
- Copper bus properly sized
- Mine Duty Circuit Breaker Output Panels
- Low voltage Utility Section
